Karis, my sister who was 34 years old, just passed away this last Saturday, June 27th. She has ended her battle with Leukemia, which she struggled for her life for over a year now. I will miss her so much that words cannot express my feelings. I will miss her love, her awesome smile and her support that she gave me in whatever I did. I chose some photos that I remember her best as:
1998 - This was at my dad's wedding. 1997 - One of my high school plays 12 years ago.
We were roomates at this time.
She always came to every play.

June 22, 2009 - AX
I will only be at AX for the first 2 days of the con. My costume list is:
Day 1 - Succubus from WoW
Day 2 - Sorceress Edea from Final Fantasy VIII

Also, I decided next year I will be attending Fanime for the first time. Too many people tell me how much fun it is, so I will be attending. My costume for that is planned and I will be *hopefully* in the masquerade for that as well.
On a side note, I am working on a new layout for my site; it may not be live until the end of July, so keep on checking back periodically.
May 21, 2009 - Updates
Since I got back from my trip to Yosemite, I've been finishing my Succubus costume for AX. I will probably post some progress pictures on cosplay.com soon. I have also been working on a new layout for my site. It should be up before AX.
In the meantime, I have updated a couple of things on my site: my press section, up-coming cosplays and the links page.
I would like to thank everyone for their emails over the past few months regarding my costumes; I really appreciate the support that I recieve from everyone! :)

February 27, 2009 - Photo shoot soon
Finally I will be shooting my Elza cosplay in the middle of March with Andy Rak. I'm very excited about that. Elza has been sitting in my closet for almost a year now! :( I was in the middle of making my Black Lagoon cosplay and my Kaolinite cosplay, but I have to put aside those projects for at least 2 months due to lack of funds. Hopefully I will be able to complete one of them for the So Cal Picnic in May.
A side note, I started to play Fable last week and I just beat it yesterday. It's an awesome game!
January 13, 2009 - New Costume, Drawing and Cancer
I just got my pictures back from Asianschoolboy taken at Anime LA. My cosplay was Lady Riddel from Chrono Cross. I'm still waiting for a picture or two from Andy Rak as well. I will post them when I get them in.
I've been taking up drawing again, FINALLY! I think what got me going again was a manga given to me by Lillyxandra at her princess picnic. It is called "Bride of the Watergod." I'm actually doing fanart of it now since it inspired me to draw again. I re-created the first cover art, but I'm coloring it in Photoshop. I decided not to do clean lines in Illustrator this time around. Here is a progress pic of it now.
Some bad news is that the doctors have detected cancer again in my sister. It came back more resilient to treatments, but there is still hope. She will need another bone marrow transplant, but this time not from me. The reason is that my cells didn't end up attacking her cancer cells since our bodies are so similar. So they are trying to find an outside donor. That way the donor's cells will more likely fight off the cancer than my cell that were similar. The only problem is that if the donor's cells are too different, it could kill her. Everyone please pray for my sister! She needs lots of prayer and hope!
December 12, 2008 - Major Updates
I updated my site with two new costumes: Bloodsail Buccaneer and Princess Violette. I also added a COSMODE scan that I was in under the press section, as well as a new Sorceress Edea pic by Jamais Vu. Here's a couple of pics! :)

August 4, 2008 - Right Hand
So I'm finally getting more mobility in my right hand. I'm using it to type and write! My writing is still crappy and I still can't twist my wrist all the way, but I'm working on it. I'm going to get back to the gym and work out too. I've decided (I can't believe it) but I'm going to get a tan for my Elza costume. I think I'll do a photoshoot with the costume in the next month once I'm fit again since I don't have any convention plans for it.
Also, about my sister, I will be donating my bone marrow fairly soon. The doctors think that the transplant will save her life and help her with her white blood cell count. Keep praying for her!

I put up my cosplay videos under the press section. I will also work on the tutorials this next week before I'm back to work full time from my leave of absence due to my condition.

Ok, so my website shouldn't have anymore old links except the Elza and Succubus page. Whew! Pretty soon I'll add my tutorials and youtube videos of my cosplays. Stay tuned!
Today I saw the new Batman movie. It kicks butt! I can't decide which of the new Batman movies I like. I'm kind of thinking this one, but not sure.
July 16, 2008 - Website
I've
updated the site again today with a few more pages. All the pages
are on the new layout except the fun stuff and links. Also, the
art thumbs are not working, as well as the separate cosplays, but it
will be fixed in the next few days.
July 15, 2008 - Update on Life
I've been wanting to update my site
now for some time, but lots of
things have been happening in my life. For those of you who don't
know, I was in a major car accident in late June. It left me with
a fractured pelvis and fractured wrist on my right arm. For the
first couple of weeks, I was unable to walk...plus since I'm right
handed I cannot draw, write or play consel games. Thankfully, I'm
alive and I'll be back to normal in August. In the mean time, I
figured out a way to use the mouse left handed so I can use the
computer. I also became a pro at using my
left hand at world of
warcraft. Due to my condition, I was unable to attend AX and show
my latest costume, Elza. I'm also unable to attend Comic-con and
VGL since I still won't be 100%. Another place, another time.
Another thing that is happening is that my sister was diagnosed with aml leukemia the same week as my car accident. It is an aggressive form that can take one's life in a year or less. She will be needing a bone marrow transplant fairly soon. Luckily, I'm a perfect match for her so I will be donating to her. This transplant will truly save her life. I'm very worried and scared for her and I continue to pray for her recovery.
Another thing that is happening is that my sister was diagnosed with aml leukemia the same week as my car accident. It is an aggressive form that can take one's life in a year or less.
